Nothing beats a classic glass of real ale & a warm welcoming pub in which to drink it!

No.4 is small, snug but special – a comfortable hang-out to share with friends & family.  Enjoy a glass or two in good company or sit  with a mug of coffee and relax!  

Expect an ever-changing menu rooted in what's in-season & what's available locally. The food is simple but up-to-the-minute, a 'Dorset' tapas menu - boards & bowls - ideal for sharing and a whole lot more including delicious Sunday roasts.

No 4 is ideal for private parties & receptions with exclusive use for your event.

There’s an eclectic collection of books to browse through, newspapers on the bar and a pile of board games just right to while away the relaxing hours.

Dogs are welcome (on leads please)

Although we welcome children, we do think the bar is a place for adults in the evening. Children are welcome after 6.00pm if dining and supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
